Tahir Abrar (they/he) is a lesbian writer from a Muslim Indian
immigrant family. Their baba’s stories are the source of their
love for Indian storytelling in all forms: everything from
Premchand to Akbar Birbal, from family jinn to Vikram
Betaal, and from masala films to OTT releases.
